Reception in Honour of the National Finalists of the 2012 Australian of the Year Awards
On Tuesday 24 January 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Excellency Dr Kriangsak Kittichaisaree.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception in honour of the National Finalists of the 2012 Australian of the Year Awards.
Afterwards, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, by Colonel Debra Bradford ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
