Australia Day message

From Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO

My friends – I’m talking to you today from an iconic site. The Yarralumla Woolshed was built in 1909. It was in operation for about 50 years on the sheep farm that is today, Government House.
This place symbolises the enormously important role that the wool industry played in the development of our country.
